BVV Pension Management was faced with the challenge that the numerous added values for their employees could not be grasped at a glance. What was missing was a comprehensive overview that was quick and easy to understand and, ideally, even fun to use. First and foremost, the solution should give applicants and interested parties – but also current employees – a convenient overview of the added values.
The Client
BVV Pension Management is the central service provider in the BVV association. With more than 500,000 insured persons and pensioners and around 34 billion euros in assets under management, the BVV group is one of the largest pension providers in Germany. More than 300 employees in the heart of Berlin are shaping the future of occupational pension provision for the financial sector. Here, stability meets the agility of a modern company, creating the ideal conditions for a good working environment.
The Task
The task of Big Pictury was to develop a visually appealing and comprehensive presentation of all employee benefits, specifically tailored to prospective employees and applicants. The aim was to create a complete and understandable overview that is not only visually appealing but also easy to grasp. To do this, different clusters were formed.
The Realization
The result is a big picture that presents the advantages for BVV Pension Management employees in an attractive and structured way. To do this, we formed five clusters:
- Values: This category sets the visualization apart from a simple list of employee benefits, because it also shows potential talent the values that the new employer represents.
- Benefits: From benefits that give employees a sense of security to small gestures that brighten up their working day, this category has it all.
- Mobility: Mobility and mobile working are playing an increasingly important role these days. That’s why we have dedicated a separate category to the topic of “mobility” and the many possibilities of flexible working arrangements.
- Health: This is where employees can find numerous offers of support to help them stay healthy in their day-to-day work.
- Perspective: What can I expect? This category provides an insight into how new and existing employees are supported in their development.
Since the workplace is an important factor in being able to realistically imagine the daily work routine, we have added another facet to the big picture: on the right-hand side of the picture, the new BVV Pension Management location at Berlin’s Postbahnhof, where modern working environments are currently being created in a historic building.

The Big Picture in Use
The Big Picture is used strategically by the HR department of BVV Pension Management to present its own values, benefits and services in an appealing way
- Externally: Big Picture helps to make the company’s attractiveness as an employer visible and aids (potential) applicants in their decision-making.
- It opens doors at job fairs and similar events
- and amplifies the message in job interviews.
- Internally: It reminds existing employees of the opportunities (for development) available to them within the company.
